The warning comes as a result of an E. coli outbreak in the state of Wisconsin. According to reports at least one person has died, and another 50 are said to be sick. E. coli a food borne illness is caused by a highly toxic strain of the bacterium Escherichia coli. Although most strains of this bacterium are found in the intestines of healthy humans, when the toxic strain contaminates a food source, it can lead to severe sickness, with symptoms such as bloody diarrhea.
